Description
Boat name stencils are just like boat name stickers, but a paint mask stencil that you can use to permanently paint your boat with it’s name. Regular vinyl will not stick to roto-molded hulls like kayaks and some sport boats. That’s where these stencils fit the bill! They are applied just like boat name vinyl – with a reverse transfer paper on top, stick it to your hull, press the stencil in place, peel it back, then paint in the letters and numbers onto your hull, then when dry, remove the paint mask.
You can choose from all of our standard typefaces (but you won’t pick a color, because that will be your choice of the appropriate paint for your hull!)
Wooden boat builders: we know you love to paint and our customers tell us that Kirby’s Oil and Enamel Paint is the paint to use for these stencils. You receive these as a SET OF 2, meaning you will be able to set up both sides of the boat at the same time.
“Never would’ve believed that was a stencil when I received it, but it worked out well. I had minor overspray and slight runs where the adhesive let go, but nothing sticks to this boat! I was able to easily clean it up with goof off on a Q-tip.
