We do not sell boat registration number stickers with italics or outlines because these are not legal in any state or territory. Do you see them on boats? Yes, sometimes. Why don’t we make those? Because it opens you up for an overzealous state official to pull your boat over. At that point, they are going to start looking for the following: marine radio, boater safety certificate for the boat’s driver, two spotters for towing, the appropriate number and sizes of life jackets, kids in life jackets, alcohol / other consumption, safety equipment and more. Why open yourself up to this kind of search by having the wrong type of numbers on your boat?
We DO offer fancy fonts for boat name stickers and you can order those online right now and we CAN do outline fonts and colors for boat name stickers (call us for this custom work). We can do custom boat name or logos too (our founder is a graphic designer with 30+ years of design expertise). Feel free to have FUN with boat names, but let’s keep those numbers to state legal standards.
